This year the club is planning to run two rides as part of the Rapha 100.

For anyone not aware the Rapha Women’s 100 is in the words of Rapha:

“The Rapha Women’s 100 is a celebration of the collective spirit among riders across the globe, coming together and riding 100km on the same day.” https://www.rapha.cc/gb/en/stories/womens100

We are looking to do two routes, a 100KM and 50KM this one is for the 100KM
Distance: 100KM
Hilly/flat: This is a hilly route which heads out into the stunning Yorkshire Dales the route goes out to Grassington from Saltaire via Bingley, Silsden, Skipton and Hetton there will be a cafe stop at Grassington before returning via Appletreewick, Bolton Abbey, Ilkley, Asquith, Otley and Esholt. Ride With GPS calculates approximately 3,900ft of climbing.

We have several leaders available so we can split into groups dependent of pace. The leaders are Speedster – Jennifer Battersby, Catcher – Vicky Mathwin, Flexible on group Charlotte Mccormack, Helen Simpson, Zoe Towers
The groups will be riding at approximate average paces below but these note are no drop rides.
Speedster 13-14mph
Catcher 11-12mph
Chaser 9-10mph
The car park does not open until 09:00, 09:15 meet for 09:30 off
Please note parking directions for Sat Nav entering the correct postcode for Salts Mill brings you to the wrong side of the Mill for the car park. Instead, please set your Sat Nav to BD17 7EF. When it tells you you’ve reached your destination, keep going along Salts Mill Road following the brown signs – you’ll pass a big red brick chimney on your left as you cross the canal, then you’ll see the mill at the end of the road. Proceed through the gates into the free Salts visitors car park on the right.
